How We Chose Our Name
Elaine Wang
Co-Founder
The S&S in our nonprofit name is to honor our two families. My mother's family name is Shen and her father has been a role model to me since I was very young. I wanted to honor him.
Ian Sun
Co-Founder
Elaine and I wanted to create a nonprofit that would focus on the needs of teens. We were able to start this nonprofit with the help of our families and so we wanted to recognize them in the name.
